Shawnee Beauty College is located in a one-story building with 7,500 square feet and accommodate 60 students. The facility consists of 1 major clinic area, 25 workstations, 1 large classroom, 1 demonstration and mannequin area, Breakroom area, restroom facilities, a library/media area, enrollment office, and an administrative and counseling office.

The school was originally located in the heart of the downtown business district on Main Street in Shawnee, but the space was limited and we recently outgrew that location. The size of the student body increased as did the class sizes encouraging us to make a change. While we spent 42 years on Main Street the college made the move to our current location on Harrison in 2018.
Have a High School diploma or High School transcript showing a graduation date. Have a recognized equivalent of a High School Diploma such as a home schooled certificate by the state where the student resided during home school or a General Education Diploma (GED). We do not accept the Ability to Benefit criteria. Are not currently enrolled at a primary or secondary institution. Has a correct social security number.
In order to determine eligibility for Title IV funds, student must:
Comply with our Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) policy included in the student catalog. Not be in default on a loan made under any Title IV, HEA loan program. Must not have obtained loan amounts that exceed annual or aggregate loan limits made under any Title IV, HEA loan program. Not have property to a judgment lien for debt owed to the U.S. Is not liable for a grant from the Federal Perkins loan overpayment. Be enrolled at least half time to receive assistance from the Direct Loan program. (The Pell Grant program does not require half time enrollment, but the student's enrollment status does affect the amount of Pell a student may receive).

This school’s attendance and refund policies are in compliance with the requirements of the National Accrediting Commission of Career Arts and Sciences and the Department of Education. This allows us to participate in the Federal Department of Education’s Title IV Funding Programs which provide funds to assist you with your educational expenses.

PELL GRANTS – awards made by the Federal government based on individual student needs.
FEDERAL DIRECT LOAN PROGRAM – loans based on individual need which you repay after completing your training.
VOCATIONAL REHABILITATION – state operated program for vocationally handicapped students. Contact your local Vocational Rehabilitation office at www.okrehab.org
BUREAU OF INDIAN AFFAIRS – provides some financial assistance to students who are at least 1/4 Indian. Contact your tribal office for more information.
VETERANS ADMINISTRATION – provides assistance through a variety of programs for eligible Veterans and their dependents. Contact the nearest Veteran’s office at www.ok.gov/ODVA
